The “2009 Valencia Community Regional Tasting UK” under the aegis of the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia was held all day in the Andaz London (formerly Great Eastern Hotel) in Liverpool Street on 24 November 2009. But where’s the feedback?
I’ve been keeping an eye and ear out for any response, and I can’t help thinking that this event has received disappointingly little attention. To be frank, at the time of writing it is two weeks since the tasting, in which 11 bodegas took part, and the only Google results I can see are a pdf of the event catalogue on the PR company Hispanic Consulting’s website and a passing reference in the International Wine Challenge’s blog.
I hope that the bodegas found the event productive, in terms of distribution possibilities and marketing, but where are the wine trade comments on the wines, or references on the bodegas’ own websites, blogs and other platforms? There has to be something to say, doesn’t there?
